Experience

I have been a scientist, a teacher, a small business owner, a salesperson, and a lawyer. I spent the first several years of my law career with Vinson & Elkins, where I worked primarily on complex patent litigation cases. I also spent time as a Lawyer on Loan with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office where I sharpened my skills as a trial lawyer handling misdemeanor criminal cases.

I left the large firm life in 2008 to start this practice dedicated to helping the small business owner and entertainment professional to handle the unique challenges faced by anyone who runs their own business.

I would appreciate the opportunity to see how I can help you and your business!
